Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.23 limited slip
need to know if i need this
that rubber washer and the carbon brush and spring that are underneath the distributor coil aren't there. Do all distributors need those? or do i need need them? Mine is just a plain stock HEI type.

Yes, you need them. Otherwise, you won't get your engine started.
