Re: weird stalling issue.

How do you mean, are you doing neutral drops?
What happens if the car is in drive, you release the brake, and apply the accelerator?
Where are your RPMs when you have the car in drive and the brake applied?
I have only heard of the transmount causing a stalling issue when the accelerator is aggressively applied from a complete stop. Even then, I believe it is rare.
If the engine stalls when simply shifting from neutral to drive, you may have to adjust your Idle.

Re: weird stalling issue.

Hey, I know with my setup (5.7 TPI) there is quite a procedure involved due to disconnecting and adjusting the AIC motor at the throttle body and doing things in the correct sequence. Its not very hard when the instructions are in front of you, but you do have to follow a specific procedure or the idle will continue to reset itself to where it was prior to adjustment. I'm not too familiar with your setup involving the TBI on a 92, but I would imagine that there is a specific sequence to follow on that as well so the computer does not reset the idle again. If you do a quick search of the forum, there are probably a multitude of posts that describe the procedure for your exact setup. You can chack the tech articles as well, you may get lucky. Also, I know that even just a Haynes manual would have that in it. If you don't want to fork out the $20 for one, just go to Autozone or other large parts chain and read the procedure in the store. At least then you will know for certain weather or not there is anything special you need to do.

And yes, before anyone says anything about my willingness to "rip off" Haynes, Autozone, or other large parts retailers, keep in mind that the two mentioned and some others unmentioned have cost me enormous amounts of money, time, and aggravation over the years due to carelessness and lack of automotive knowledge. So yes, I am ABSOLUTELY willing to be the one ripping them off. Yeah, yeah, yeah, back to topic.
