need vacuum to start car?
I don't know anything about the function of vacuum so I wanted to know what parts of the vacuum needs to be hooked up to start the car right.

Re: need vacuum to start car?
Vacuum is produced by the engine sucking air out of the manifold, so there isn't any vacuum until the engine starts.

Re: need vacuum to start car?
All of them? That's almost never a good idea. The brake booster and PCV need vacuum. So does the MAP sensor with computer-control, or the distributor on a non-computer car. Without vacuum you'll lose HVAC control on cars originally equipped with A/C.
That's not even counting the things that people traditionally eliminate out of ignorance.
