What does this mean?

Hey guys, I have recently gotten this camaro running .. After driving it for a while Ive noticed that the outer ceramic of the spark plugs have a green ring around them. This ring is located between the spark plug boot and where the metal part of the plug meets the ceramic. I thought maybe it was from having the timing off and causing to much heat in the heads. Not sure. Problem.. not a problem. Change em.. leave em? not sure.

Oh and the car runs fine, no missing or any sign of a fouled plug.
Any good advise is appreciated.
