First stop buying parts that have nothing to do with the issue. If the mechanic is correct that one bank of injectors is not being fired correctly then that's where to start. Maybe get a noid light and work back from the injectors checking wires etc. And/or work forward from the fuse. Either the injectors are not be triggered correctly by the ecu or they don't have enough voltage to operate properly. Have you checked the restiance across the injectors?

resistance on the injectors should be between 12-16 ohm. Also, keep in mind that if they do ohm out ok, that does not mean that there is not a potential problem with them.

In rereading your post I see the mechanic said when he jumped from an another (additional?) battery everything worked fine. This suggests the injectors etc. may be ok and the issue is with wiring somewhere. If there is a corroded connection or partially broken wire the extra power from the additional battery may be just enough to overcome the poor connection. Check/clean connections and gently move/bend wires to see if a anything changes. Also, just unplugging and reconnecting things can clean a connection enough to make it work.
