I just had my heads rebuilt and replaced all of my gaskets. For the first week it started and ran like a brand new car. Now I have a loud knock and very hard starts. My question is, how do I determine if I spun a bearing or if it is in the valve system (ie. dead lifter, bent rod, or bad valve job). I am leaning toward the valve system because of the really hard starts that I am experiencing all of a sudden but the knock sounds like a rod knock. Any idea's will be appreciated.
