embarassing starting issue!
Ok ,my car is a 91 tpi 350 car. Sometimes the car starts up on the 1st try and sometimes it takes 10 to 20 turns of the ignition switch. I will just get a single click! over and over until it finally decides to start cranking. Where should i start testing first? My first guess was maybe the purple wire from the starter to the neutral safety switch. I was also thinking about bypassing my starter enable relay? Anyone have any ideas?

Re: embarassing starting issue!
Car has a brand spanking new starter. Battery is fine. Cable connections appear to be good. I thought it was the solonoid too. Brand new starter did the same thing. I actually have a 305 transmission (700r4) and 305 starter. The engine is a 350 though, but I think it is a wiring problem somewhere.
