head/intake vacuum

Think I have an intake leak between my intake and heads on a new motor. The heads were milled .005 but the intake is a stock Edelbrock hi-flo TPI base. Being the heads were milled does the intake also have to be milled to seat correctly? Thanks

Re: head/intake vacuum

At only .005" I wouldn't think it would make it necessary to mill the intake manifold to match. What gives the impression you have a vacuum leak at the manifold?
