EST wire help
i timed my car but i looked on here and someone said you have to disconnect the est wire time the car then un do the battery then wait a lil then hook it back up and your fine. question is were is the est wire exactly. i have a 87 iroc-z 350

Its a little wetherpack connector that should have black and tan wires going to it. Its located on the passenger's side of the engine bay between the strut mount and the firewall.

is it just those two wires and if so all i have to do is unplug it. whats the difference if i leave it connected while timing it.
