ok guys, 90 rs, 305 tbi, 700 r4 trans.

ok engine is fine at idle,
in gear sitting it acts like it either is missing or not enuff fuel
same when driving, not enuff power like normal, like its missing or not enuff fuel, just not powerful like it should be or like it was a few days ago, it kinda i guess surges or how ever u wanna put it.
i was thinkin, either
needs new plugs and wires and cap and rotor,
or fuel filter cuz it may be clogged.

but what do yall think? is it those things or is it maybe weak coil or fuel pump?

How long since they were last replaced.

 

I had an old Mercedes once which did the same thing. Turned out to be the HT leads, they were arcing to the engine block like mad. When the car was in drive the extra load on the engine cased it to misfire.

 

im not sure when a tune up has been done on this car i havent had it but a couple months, i just wanna kinda be almost sure before i go replacing everything ya know?

and i checked all around the motor and checked any hot wires and its all good
