Oil capacity of 2.8L V6?
Oil capacity of 2.8L V6?
Judging by displacement and of cylinders, id say 4 quarts? 5?
Im doing an oil change SOON and i see some sludge through the fill hoe so im going from there. needing capacity and i know what filter it takes.

all cars take 5 quarts, its standard unless it some odd ball forign thing or a big truck
I like to use 5 -1/2, so it reads full on the stick when running, so when the top of the engine has oil in it, the pan is full. Screw a few HP loss on crank drag.

most v6 and four cylinder motors take between 4 and 5, except like trailblazers and envoys that take 7. If your ever not sure just put four in and start it then check how more you have to add. You obvisouley dont check it running and wait a minute or so after shutting it off to check the oil.
