Pump Slump
When you turn the key to the RUN position can you hear the pump run for a second or two?
When you repeat the test you have to wait for about a minute IIRC.

Dealership sells them - not cheap. Hvaen't seen them anywhere else. This is for the oval relay, right?
You know, any relay will work. You can get a standard square shaped relay and connector/pigtail and just splice it it. Something like the 40amp 5-wire relay and the 5-wire pigtail that are both ON SALE here - less than $15 investment, and then you can always use a standard square-based relay:

Re: 88 Camaro fuel problems
The oil pressure sending unit is a backup fuel pump circuit - anytime the OPSU senses oil pressure, the fuel pump will run if it's not already being run by the ECM/relay circuit.
So - your relay connector is still bad, and you still need to replace it. Your fuel pump is getting run from the OPSU circuit, which is connected straight to the battery via that fuse you replaced. Doesn't matter if the key is in the car or not, the fuel pump will run if 1) that fuse is good and 2) the OPSU senses oil pressure.
So - if the car was not running, and you replaced that fuse, then it's quite possible your OPSU is bad as well - sensing oil pressure when there is none and making the fuel pump run.
Make sense?
