2 Fuel Pumps on 1 Car?
My 1987 Trans Am 305 automatic has an electric and manual fuel pump. One in the tank and one on the engine. Is this normal? And the starter is also not getting power. Any ideas on this? All help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

'87 carburetor 305's had an in-tank electric pump and an engine-mounted mechanical pump to help prevent vapor lock.
Do you mean the starter isn't getting power when you put the key to the start position? If so, check the neutral safety switch. If you are sure it isn't getting power.
