1.6 rockers and valve covers

Ok, I found some stamped 1.6 rockers, and i am not after reducing friction here either. Just want more lift from the stock cam. So the question is this: These rockers look just like the stock 1.5 rockers and i am wondering if there will be any kind of clearance issue with the stock centerbolt valve covers? Isn't it usually only a problem when the rocker is wider? like a roller rocker?

Re: 1.6 rockers and valve covers

Shouldn't have an issue - the issues come in on roller rockers that pivot on a rail rather than the ones that are attached to a stud.

Make sure the rockers are the self-aligning type. That's what 91's used.
