I've searched and searched It always turns out the same people just saying the heads will work. But I'm curious to what the compression ratio is with the 58cc heads on a l98.

Also I'll probably be going this route because of the budget and was wondering what some good cam choices would be.

motor is stock as or right now other then headers dual cats.

would I have to upgrade injectors if I did these heads and a cam?

 

Depends on what pistons are currrently in the L98.

But if they're the original ones, the CR will be somewhere very close to 10 flat or very slightly higher. If they're NOT the original ones, who knows, could be just about anything.

Cam choices would depend on the induction system (carb, TPI, MR, HSR, etc.), gears & converter, and intended use of the car.

 

sorry forgot to mention for now stick with tpi probably go high flow products or just some porting.

the pistons are stock 91 z28

3 42 gears with a t56. and the car would be just a fun street car not a daily but still driven primarily on the street.
