I've had my '92 RS for 8 years now. I know the heater control valve has been replaced by a previous owner, but it's always just kind of sat next to the valve cover and it doesn't seem like it was put back into the factory spot when it was replaced. Anyone have any good pictures of where it's supposed to sit, so I can try and put it back in it's original place? Here are some pics of where mine is currently sitting. Thanks for coming by!

 

Looks about right to me. They never attached to anything, just kind of sat there.

I bought a 92 RS from PR and had it shipped to the states a couple of months ago. The People there had this thing to disconnect the heating system and remove the thermostat causing a decrease of water retention that blowed the radiator on a regular day. I installed a 160F thermostat and filled it with DEX Cool coolant and it handles well but it really needs the heater re-installed for propper flow. So I would like to know which hoses belongs to each part of the valve.
