After warming up, won't restart.

With my 88 Firebird TBI, it will start perfectly, warms up and runs smoothly. When I turn it off, and try to restart it, it turns over very slowly, acting like the battery is dead (voltage is good). Battery, alt, and starter have all been tested.

I have to wait for it to cool down before I can restart it.

Might be ignition module located in distributor under rotor button.

I was thinking it could be that. Maybe I bought a defective part...or didn't put on enough of that grease.

Thank you, Nate.

The solenoid is really close to the y-pipe. I'll have to try that.
