do the ones off summit come tuned also? Do you just submit your info later? I ask because they are on sale on summit.

 

No distributor comes "tuned" - there's nothing to "tune" with it. IT itself is used to tune your car. Got a link to which dist you are referring to?

That is again going to depend on your motor. Most distributors come with extra weights and springs so that you can swap to get the right setup to get the total timing you want, but you'll have to do the swapping of them and test until you get the right combination. If it doesn't come with them, they are available seperately.

no you give them the specs of your car,cam, and uses and they tune it to your car so you arent messing with weights and springs and the vacuum advance but nevermind i just called summit and they dont if u want it tuned for your car you gotta go through DUI.
