Ok so I have posted this before and I thought it was the water pump but I don't think thats the case. The noise shows up after the car reaches above 180 F and after the noise starts it stays until after you get going above 25mph but as soon as you slow back down again it starts up again. any help would be greatly apreciated

Sacrifice an oil filter. Buy a new one and take off your old one. Cut it open and look inside. If it's full of metal, you have bad bearings. If it's clean, it's not a bearing problem.

The noise sounds like a belt squealing but it only starts after the car reaches 180. It sounds like it's coming from around the waterpump. It's been raining all day but when the weather gets better I will change the oil filter and see what it looks like

Re: symptoms of thrown main bearing?
prepare to loosen/remove belt, Warm engine up until noise starts, shut off engine and remove belts and re fire engine for a few seconds and see if noise is gone if so then shut Eng off and check pump pulley for noise or binding when turning by hand (wear gloves plz), check all pulleys and alternator if needed. Note some crazy odd noises can come from belts by trapping and compressing air(mostly notched V belts)

How polished are your belts or pulleys looking?

The belt/pulley looks good and I have already did all of the above with the belt and I did not hear the noise when the belt was off nor did I hear any strange noises from the pulleys. The noise is weird though because it only shows up after the car has reached operating temperature. Like for example when the car reaches 200 F I turn the air conditioning on because I have yet to wire up a separate switch. But once I turn on the air conditioning for the fan the first time the noise starts and then it goes until I shut the car off. Then after the car is shut off and the belt has stopped moving the noise continues on then tapers off.
