My best friend died in october due to cancer and I inherited his 91 camro Rs it needs alot of work but plan on restoring it in his honor. It will have to be a project cars due to funds. Already got all lights working but the ignition switch sticks when I crank up car. I am a jack of all trades but master of none. Figured I should join this site since it has helped me so far. Re: Need help
Welcome Jack, congrats on your honorable project, sorry you got it under said circumstances.
We will happily help in anyway we can. To start...maybe a little dry graphite powder "squirted" into the ignition lock cylinder to lubricate the cylinder? Another option is to look under the driver dash and inspect the electrical portion of the ignition switch for lubricating white grease.
