No Spark?

my 88 305 tbi turns over fine, has a fuel supply but no spark? suggestion? coil?

Could be a bad ignition module - it's inside the distributor - most auto parts stores can test it for free.

do u have new wires if u dont pull the wire off the coil then take a screw driver and test the spark from there or is the coil built in to the distributor if not try that othere than that do the basic tune up maybe ur cap is worn down and that igntion module can be bad when u get the stuff have that tested if it works the go with a coil there only 19.99.

i replaced the entire distributer and after adjusting the timing it runs but every once in a while it will die right after i start it it seems to idle a little too low. did i not get the timing quite rite or what?
