Come one come all test your strength.
No spark situation here.
New:
Distributor
Wires
Plugs
What is unplugged:
the connector to the computer
I have nothing connected to the tachometer (on the distributor)
Battery reads 12 volts, battery wire going to the distributor reads 12 volts, every single wire reads 12 volts I even tested the clamps for the timing light that go to the battery..12 volts. I put the alligator clamp on the spark plug wire with it plugged in and it won't flash.
I have a ground wire (jumper cable) between the engine block and the negative battery terminal. I have the clamp that holds down the distributor to the engine. And I also have that big fat negative wire going between the distributor hold down clamp to the negative battery terminal.
The engine is on a stand outside the car and my battery is sitting on a cylinder block..
Does anyone know why the timing light won't flash?

Re: What does this mean?
I've got another spark tester I'll try (it's that clamp type one). This is amazing.
EDIT: Hey you were right it was the timing gun. Thanks man.
