Engine: 2.8 Multiport
Need HELP!!!

Can someone help me i did a head gasket in my 1989 camaro 2.8 multiport everything was put together correctly but i cant seem to get it to run i believe its my timing i put it tdc and set the timing but it still wont start i've been reading about the est wire and i cant find it even after i seen pics of what it looked like. Can someone help me time it properly or give me another reason it aint starting. Its my racecar and i have a race this sunday im running out of time.

For every full rotation of the distributor, the #1 piston will come to TDC twice. That means if you put the distributor in so the rotor is pointing at the #1 spark plug terminal when the #1 piston is at TDC, you either have the distributor in correctly, or 180 degrees off.
