Machine Work on Vortec Heads.

I have some "062" Vortec heads that I'm going to be installing on a 400 sbc. I know I'm needing to get some machine work done to the heads such as:

Cutting the Valve Guides
Install Screw in Rocker Studs
Drill Steam Ports
Drill out the Pushrod holes to 1/2"

How low do I need to cut the valve guides? 11/32" is what I'm finding online from one source, but not sure if that is right or not. That is the only thing that I'm concerned about, everything else I think I know already. If I'm missing anything let me know please.

Also what guideplates should I use with these ARP rocker studs? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ARP-134-7201/
