Hi, i have a 1986 trans am and it wont start when i try to jump it the starter clicks and it draws alot of current. I tried replacing the starter but it did the same thing, i also tried shimming the starter but with the same results. It isnt an electrical problem because I tried to directly jump the starter and there was nothing different. The engine is not seized up, i can turn it over manually and the only thing that i can tell is wrong with the fly wheel is there is only one tooth missing but i know that isnt too big of a deal. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could give me any suggestions on what to do or anything i could try, thank you.
