New fuel pump, now no spark

I tried looking in old threads for some info, but didn't find anything without spending hours looking.

I put a new fuel pump in my 91 Trans Am TPI305. I can tell it works because I hear it pressurizing, and there seems to be plenty of pressure at the Schrader valve. (I didn't put a guage on it, just got fuel spraying out.)

The car cranks, (and probably floods, as it smells like fuel) but won't fire. I checked, and got no spark. Replaced the coil, no change.

One question: Do these cars have one of those "reset" switches where the spark gets shut off after getting in a wreck, or a fuel issue? I've heard of many cars having these, but have never seen one on a thirdgen.

Second: Any other ideas? I'm not great with diagnosing this type of thing, but do have access to a test light, and a guy who can help.

Lastly: The fuel pump went out almost 2 years ago, and I've just now been able to get work done on it. I know that opens the can of worms for what the problem could be. The car is stored in a very dry, brand new garage, so it shouldn't be too big of problem. I just need the "reset" switch question answered and some direction.

Thanks so much
Brian
