I would go thru and check the grounds and wiring for that circuit. Also maybe the wrong bulbs or may need new sockets for the blankets? I know if the bulb is "to big" it causes to much resistance in the circuit making it blink slower.

Re: need some help please!!

fuse keeps blowing- which one?

Blinkers don't work? But then you say a turn signal is stuck on... do they not work at all or does a blinker not blink, it just stays on solid?

backup lights- when you were going through the restoration did you verify the wiring in the rear? When you had the tranny out during restoration, did you verify the reverse switch? It's so much easier to verify wiring when you had the engine and tranny out for restoration.

Did you make any modifications to the wiring?

When you had the interior out, did you by any chance drive a screw through any wires when re-assembling?

I'm done with my restoration except I just changed my dimmer switch to floor mount and need to get the horn working. The horn worked before I tore down the vehicle so I know it's a self inflicted problem. Were the backup lights working before you completely tore down the vehicle?

Re: need some help please!!

when i stick the turn/bu fuse in the fuse box its a 20a fuse it blows. and when i turn my headlights on my left turn signal is illuminated without the fuse in. i havent done anything with the wiring but someone before me stuck a pillar pod with oil pressure and water temp gauges. i only pulled the tranny for the shift kit and everything looked good underneath. im stumped cause its the only thing i need to go through inspection. does anyone know where the grounds are located for the turnsignals and reverse lights
