just curious about 02 sensor pricing went into good year and was getting new tires and ask the guy about the sensor he said 200-400 dollars i looked on jegs and summit their most expensive one is like 30 dollars??should i buy from website and have somebody install it or is 200-400 sound right..also what do you all recommend as far as brand/type of sensor

What's that?

Yeah something around $25 - 40 is the normal price to buy one at the store for most American cars. That's about like changing your oil or spark plugs; not something a healthy, able-bodied person should be paying somebody else to do for them.

drive it over to my house and I'll save you $50 and do it for $150


seriously, a Bosch is about $20 and works just fine. With headers, it's as simple as driving onto your ramps, I believe it's a 7/8 open end wrench (they also make O2 specific wrenches) and within 3-4 minutes you are rolling the car back off the ramps.

I can't even tell you how to do it with stock exh manifolds because nobody has stock exhaust
