pulley noise??
91 l98 around the ac pulley or tensioner i hear a noise http://youtu.be/2Iz6AVTsd2c
this was after i removed the intake manifold( becouse it was leaking motor oil from the upper area) so put everything back and put new oil. start up the motor and i have this,which i belive is some noise around those pulleys .only does it at idle...anybody have an idea

does it do it when a/c is both on or off. Do you think it might be the tensioner. if so try and get some wd40 in there on the bearings if that makes it go away then its the tensioner. also if the noise changes when a/c is on or off the clutch in the a/c compressor might be going bad.

You can buy a stethescope to help pinpoint the noise, or you can CAREFULLY use a long screwdriver - put metal tip on various parts, and put plastic handle against ear - the vibrations are transferred directly to your eardrum (like a stethescope) and makes pinpointing noises much easier.
