Fuel Pump Whine/Humm
I know there are other threads that get into the fuel being too hot, the smell of fuel, fuel rails getting too hot, routing of the return line, and tank pressures. But this thread is different. This one is to find 3rd gen owners who have experienced abnormal Fuel Pump noises. Im not talking about the normal steady whining of the FP, Im talking about the sound that is emmitted during stopping and accelerating. So to et a picture of my issue, the link provided below has an audio clip of my FP sound during braking. I heavily filtered the audio to isolate all other sounds such as the static, FLowMaster, and anyother sounds. Included is a time stamp in the discription for the time frame of where the sound is more noticable. So has anyone had this experience and was able to fix it?
