Noob balancing question.

Was on the way to replace the clutch and got to the flywheel and saw that it seemed to be an externally balanced SBC. The flywheel looks like this

Also, there is a counterweight on the end of the crankshaft.

Question is, will these work:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HAY-85-102/

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RAM-1511/

Or do I need externally balanced parts? Engine code & partial vin are

Vin: 15B583244
Engine Code: T0625CMJ

All help is appreciated!

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Noob balancing question.

Not sure how that looks "externally balanced"?

Looks like yerbasic 55-85 flywheel that would fit any engine except the 400.

The ONLY "externally balanced" SBC is the 400. ALL others are internally balanced. The 86-up ones (which of course include no 400s) have the rearmost INTERNAL balance weight mounted on the flywheel, which DOES NOT make the engine "externally" balanced. But you don't have that, so not to worry.

Yes that Ram flywheel will work. It's the same as your stock one as far as fitment goes.

Clutches are all neutral balance for Chevy V8s, so they're a non-issue. All clutches work on all motors.
