Re: IAT SENSOR!!

If it is a 350 TPI the IAT sensor is underneath the back of the plenum. The wiring connector that goes to it comes from the main harness behind the motor.

Re: IAT SENSOR!!

you have to remove the runners and plenum. Much easier that way.

Re: IAT SENSOR!!

It is "upside down" up into the bottom of the plenum. With some long nosed pliers, you can reach the plug & unplug it, but actually getting the sensor out is another thing. Just go ahead & do the IAT relocate mod & it will read the incoming air better & be easier to service in the future, if needed.

If it has simply come unplugged, it will be laying between the runners, under the plenum.

locate your ecm. Locate F16 (tan wire). Run a wire from there to the IAT sensor. Now locate your tps. Locate the black wire on it. Splice into the black wire. Now I would run this one to the IAT sensor. That should work out for you.

Re: IAT SENSOR!!

Remember there are three wires coming off of the TPS. One is grey, one is dk blue and the other is the black wire. The other side of that black wire should go back to the ecm, to one of the grounds. You only need to splice into it at the TPS and run the wire to the IAT sensor.
