This is my first post here and my first v8 build it may or may not be in the right place. Any how I used to be in the rotary thing and rebuildin all the time gets old. I have an 89 Camaro RS i bought a lil over a year ago with plans to build on it one day. im lookin for tips or ideas since my knowledge on piston engines and the fine tuning is not very broad. heres my set up so far.

2 bolt 350 bored .40 over 357ci
factory crank
looking at a set of 305 ho heads with 2.02 int. valves 1.60 exh.
600 cfm holley carb.
700r4 b&m shift kit (or would a th350 be better)
3000 stall
performer rpm intake manifold

stock rearend & gears (going to b changed just unsure of what to go with)

dont have the Pistons or cam picked yet

goal is to have a streetable car that runs decent.
