What Stall to Use??

I'm building a 53 Chevy truck ....DD only....no track. It is a 383, Dart Iron Eagle 200 heads, Super Ram injection.....planning on using an LT-4 Hot Cam. It has an 4L60e transmission and 4:11 gears. I'm looking for this truck to be very streetable. I need some info regarding the torque converter. Don't want something too tight or too loose.....what will be a safe choice for the stall? thanks Sojo

Re: What Stall to Use??

500 rpm into the powerband.

Since the LT-4 Hot Cam powerband starts at idle, a converter with no more than 2200 is all you need.
