im searching around online to find a shop near me, which im from shreveport la, that does pro tuning / dyno tuning. I have a 1982 third gen z28 camaro that i just droped the engine and trany in. ive got it running and driving, i could even drive it to dallas right now. But its not prefectly tuned, its only done by ear. Ii has the MSD street fire distributor with HEI vaccuum advance for the additional advance. im looking for a shop to tune it for that 'sweet spot' on timing, and then dyno it to see its power on paper.

My engine is a second gen 350 block bored .30 over. 1997 model vortec heads, cyl compression is 65-70lbs, cam is mild 290 duration max lift at 410, it has headers, and 600cfm edelbrock carb and HEI Street fire msd distributor.

Tranny is a Non- WC T5 5speed

Rear end is limited slip

im looking to get my carb adjusted for perfect lean/rich mixture and to get timing firing perfect through all RPMs ranges. My max rpm range is about 5000 to 5500.

I whould like to see if anyone knows of shop that is able to do this for me and for what price range whould i be looking at. i realize i probably will have to drive 3hrs and any direction, probably dallas. but thats fine. but i prefer to b in and out the same day by appointment.

 

I found a shop called Xtreme Horse Power Solutions just west of dallas. anyone ever herd of them or used them maybe? They want 300$ for a performance tune and dyno tune! Figured that was cheep, cause i hear its supposed to rund 450-500$. There website is Xhpsolutions.com
