Random noise when starting and killing 87 Firebird

Hey guys, got a random question. When I turn my key to the on position, i hear this weird constantly clicking noise from the right rear part of my car. Same thing happens when I kill it. I dont know what it is, but im sure knowing my luck its something simple, or somethings thats supposed to happen.

It sounds like when you hold a moving RC car wheel while its trying to move forward...thats the best way I can describe it...

Power antenna? They make a noise like that when they go bad.
Might be the hatch motor.

Nope, antenna is in front, not power, and hatch doesnt have a motor. Straight up key lock only. (Im almost for sure)
