So I got a set of pro topline srt heads. Used but low miles. Anyways they don't come with pushrods or rocker arms. How do I pick the right ones. Also while I have heads off what else should I give attention to. And should I bring heads to machine shop to have them check valves and such. And if so how much should I expect to pay. These heads are going onto my carbed 327. And right now I have some 882s. Will I notice a difference with theses heads. They have 167cc runners, 64 CC combustion chamber and are 1.94/ 1.50

 

Always a good idea to check for an even flat surface.
If in doubt, check for bent valves.

For push rods, you will have to know the cam lobe lift & spring pressure--
--max lift to bind & install height.
