new balancer cover timing
i bought the harmonic balancer cover that has all the engravings on it, my question is when i set up my ignition timing am i supposed to use the 0 mark on the timing tab to line it up with the 10* mark for my base timing? im a little confused about it.
Re: new balancer cover timing
Yes. If you have a degreed balancer then you use the 0* (TDC) mark on the tab as your reference point to measure against the timing lines on the balancer. Factory stuff works exactly the opposite.
