Can anyone help. I have a 92RS 305 tbi 5 speed, i has been sitting up for 2 yrs and ran fine after it was parked. I have been trying to get it back running again without any luck. It has a new battery, turns over but wont fire. I have put new gas in it, check the fuel filter and fuel is running out, it will fire for a moment if if drop gas in the TB or use starter fluid. The fuel pump is hissing. Any suggestions?

 

Might be but do you actually have fuel pressure at the engine?

 

Thats where I am getting lost. I pull 1 of the fuel lines from the TBI, and it also gushes gas out, key on, off no matter what. I pulled the other line and there was nothing.(Thinking one is fuel delivery and fuel return). WHy would one line push pressure constantly with ignition on or off?

whats the best way to check fuel pressure and which line to the TBI is the fuel sending line?
