quick firebird question

I have a chance on picking up a cheap 1987 firebird with a 2.8 do the ecm and motor parts interchange with the 2.8 from a 88 camaro?

Axle/Gears: 3.23 both spinning

they should. check the ecm number in each car, assuming you have the ecm from the 88 to compare with, but it should be the same.

They had some oil pan/timing cover differences in those years. But everything should swap over if you have to.
