Casting numbers

Ok so I finally got to that crate 350 the head casting numbers are 3998983 or3998993 can't tell for sure and the block number is 10066036 what is everything

Sounds like the "Hecho En Mexico" Goodwrench 350...

Like Apeiron said, trash heads, but a decent block core. Flat-tappet cam in it probably; most likely a 929. Pistons will be SUPER low-compression.

Good block casting core; but when rebuild time comes (or even, the "more power Scotty" bug) the rest goes into the dumpster.

One piece seal means that it is fitted for a roller can I believe. That would be a nice upgrade, and it's a good block.

It only means that it has a 1 piece RMS for certain. Those blocks have cast-in provisions for factory roller cams, and most of them have the machine work done to finish them, but not all of them have all of the necessary parts installed.

You can put a roller cam in any block. It' just cheaper if you can use all the factory stuff.
