oil pressure gauge isnt working?
back in june i took my car to a carshow right after i swapped in a new engine, well in the process i forgot to bolt down the little tap the keeps the wires from the manifolds, well while driving to the show i noticed my gauge started bouncing all around and wouldnt stop, well on the way home it finally pegged itself so i thought the oil pressure unit went bad, well i got home and changed it and got no difference, so i took it back out and got a new one and still no change, well i looked and noticed the wires against my manifold so i thought the wires were damaged, but when i pulled off the loom the wires werent damaged at all so what could be causing my gauge to not work? i really want to get this fixed. help please!!!

Re: oil pressure gauge isnt working?
I'd say get a wiring diagram for the sending unit/gauge circuit and start testing wires for opens or excessive resistance.
