Have had this build for quite awhile... had air coming into the Coolant reservoir. So I just did head gaskets (felpro 1003) and while i did that i swapped to 1.6 Rockers. I Bled the Cooling system, Coolant's clean It ran for an hour last night, no leaks, heater worked. Coolant level was good. Cleaned the garage, drove home (8 miles 15 minutes....) Everything was still good. This morning i Checked the Coolant, it was Still full... I started it up and heard a Little Tick... so i popped the Valve cover off and checked and adjusted. I had to turn one of the exhaust down 2 turns before the tick Stopped. and then i heard a Clunk every now and again... So I checked the gauges only to see the temp Buried past 260.... I Turned the heater on and very little to No heat... Got back under the hood and the overflow was bubbling over. Now its starting to clunk a bit more often so i touched the throttle and it spits back thru the intake.... so I shut it off. Now Im thinking the block might have a crack in it or the Heads are (*@#ed and i have a bad lifter... Or maybe all of the above. And i dont have the time or money to be dicking around. So I dunno... Hope somebody has been here before hahaha!!!! The way I adjust my Valves, IC-adjust Exhuast... EO-adjust Intake, Half Turn past drag on pushrod.

Tomorrow I will Do a pressure test on the Cooling System and See where the air is coming From... and I know not to Crank it over in case it Fills a Cylinder haha!!!

 

and the Timing is matched to the Computer for O* base timing with the Connector unplugged.

 

Now its Popping through the intake at 3k sounds a valve might be hanging open just a tad.... yay Time for a new Car.
