yeah.. You can see what my engine looks like on my profile.

I want to buy a chrome one where the filter itself is not enclosed inside but rather on the outside. So can I just take the one thats on there now off, then put the new one on. Or do I need to change some things because I know there is a sensor going to it and a tube.

any help would be great.

Can you tell me what I need to do to change it thanks.

Well then... I think this answers my question : D

The only thing im still a little iffy about is where I need to put those sensors and that one hose.. Maybe I need to do some soldering and modifications?

No idea, ill buy it tomorrow.

they have air cleaners with the sensors built in
hell i have the base with the sensor here at home
oh and keep your tbi spacer
and if u want a little power b4 you get the new filter flip your air cleaner top upside down and it will let the air flow more and you will get an interesting induction sound

Lol, I tried getting the sensor off at advanced but I just smashed it lmfao, it was pretty old. ill just buy another one I get a pretty good discount there anyway.

But I bought a Holly free flow.. oh my god does it look freaking amazing, have yet to actually start it. Now im in the middle of changing my flex plate... by myself... without a lift.. or jack.. Should be fun, but im tired of this noise and I know its my flex plate now due to the fact I can see light through where the teeth and base connect.

Yeah thanks for the info about the old spacer.. I figured out I needed that when I couldn't put it on without it and surprisingly I don't need a hood scoop it just fits, makes me pretty happy

good day so far as long as my transmission doesn't crush me lol
