Yesterday i was driving my car like i always do. I went to pull onto the highway from a country road and let it at half throttle like i always do.But this time you could hear a tick in the motor. But oddly enough its only when youre trying to get it up to speed.The RPM's dont jump like before,and its REALLY REALLY slow.My buddy with a 140 HP Camaro said his car gets from 0-60 faster and also said somethings really wrong.Vacuum leak? Timing? Torque converter? What do you guys think.When its just idling and your puling the throttle it doesnt make the sound,Its only while youre driving. Just thought id get some opinions before i look into it. I almost got killed today pulling onto the highway.It took more than 14 seconds to get to 60. My cars usual 0-60 is 7-8 seconds. Its just really slow and laggy. It wont peel out anymore either,any ideas? Also,since i got the car my rear gears make a grind sound whenever i take off. ALways has.

 

Oh im sorry forgot to say i have a 1993 Roadmaster 350. LO5 type H.Running headers and an open element breather.GEars are 3.23

 

check for codes, make sure your knock sensor didnt get unplugged somehow. that will make your car really slow

 

Only code i have is for timing,which ive always had ever since that motor was put it.We check it and sometimes adjust it at least once a week.and thanks ill check here in a bit
