How do I change the fuel line from the fuel filter.

The fuel line that comes from the fuel filter then goes up to my engine how to I replace this?

Do I pretty much just follow it up to my engine disconnect it there and pull it out?

Any help would be great thanks.

As soon as possible too it would be awesome.

Interesting question. I don't understand exactly what you're asking. The steel line is threaded into the rear of the TB. It runs down the top of the trans along with the return line and there is a rubber section in both lines running to the frame rail. From there they run back to where the steel supply line threads into the filter. To replace the line(s) you simply disconnect them and replace them. There are a few brackets, one that attaches to a transmission bellhousing bolt, that hold the lines in place. You have to detach and loosen these brackets to get the lines out. You you may be able to purchase replacement lines from someone like Dorman.

Thank you for the straight forward answer. I went out and bought the supplies need and I will start replacing it today. I just needed to know if it was harder then it looked which doesn't look to hard considering what Ive done to it already. The previous owners cross threaded the freaking bolt into the fuel filter. so of course the line bent when I tried to remove it.. Its ok though the like was probably extremely old anyway.

Be sure to always hold the hex on the filter, or on the throttle body with a wrench while breaking the line loose and while tightening it. Be aware of the o-ring on the end of the line at each fitting. If this o-ring is damaged the fitting will leak.
