I ahd a few set backs and now I am able to work on the motor again. The original 350 came with 72cc smogger heads which I have found out suck. But the Comp cam in it list 249/260 duration and .434/.444 lift Duration at 050 inch Lift 206 int./212 exh. I am wondering what heads and intkae combo can I buy to make 450hp+? Is this even possible?

Absolutely possible just not with that cam. Easiest way to your power levels is a set of aftermarket heads like the AFR 195's.

I was thinking more along the lines of Dart and Brodix head combo that come with head intake gasket ect. and maybe a Lunati cam. I dont have the funds to do the bottom end right now.

why would you scrap a 5.3 for a old 240hp 350?
