Car: '90 IROC Convertible
Engine: 305 TPI LB9
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.23 Disc Brake LSD
Rear Change - Other considerations - '90 IROC
My '90 IROC convertible is bone stock, LB9, 700R4, 2.73 posi drum brake 10 bolt rear with 83k miles on it.
The rear has a bearing noise and I would like to have disc brakes in the rear.
I bought an '89 IROC 3.23 posi disc brake rear and it is in very good condition.
I have decided to do the swap, changing out the 2.73 for the 3.23.
Any opinions on:
1. How much the ECM settings for the torq converter lockup will be off?
2. The trans shift points will be off?
3. Suggestions on what speedo gear I will need?
