Yes
but why would you want to backwards to old technology?
The factory put FT cams in roller blocks when they installed them in truck motors ('87 -'95)

Flat tappets are cheaper and easier to get.its going in a rollerblock but my interest was just in the cam.i dont plan on converting it to a flat tappet i just wanna use the cam,thanks for the fast response

You don't use roller lifters on flat tappet cam
If you install a FT cam , you need FT lifters and new longer push rods to suit the shorter FT lifters

Roller lifters on a flat tappet cam.... It will work, it's just anyone's guess as to how long it will last. May only last a few minutes, may last a few months...
