Hi guys,

I've noticed recently there is a light constantly on underneath the dashboard on the passenger side. Excuse my ignorance but I presume this should normally just be on when the door is open. Does anyone know if there's a manual switch anywhere to override it, as at the moment I can't turn it off and it drains the battery overnight making it very difficult to start up in the morning.

Any help greatly appreciated!

The switch for the light is in the hinge area of the door, remove it & if the light goes out (keep the wiring from touching anything) then the switch is bad.

 

Cheers buddy, I'll check it out tonight. Need to get it sorted as ended up walking 20minutes with my battery to Autozone this morning...not recommended, my arms are now twice as long!

So when you say 'in the hinge area' is it visible already or do I hace to get under the panelling? I'll take a peek tonight anyway and let you know how I get on!
